International Transport and Logistics Forum «PRO//Motion.1520» completed his work.

During the two days of the business program of the forum, 12 sessions and round tables were held, in which delegates from 340 companies representing 30 countries took part. Below is a brief digest of the most interesting topics and statements of the speakers.

    03.10.2015 - Discussion day

Simplified border crossing, the growth of daytime express trains and Moscow-Adler for 16 hours are the main topics of the strategic session “PRO Passenger traffic today: problems, trends, goals”.

“The reality is that they compete with us powerfully. It competes motor vehicles, does it powerfully both in terms of legislation and provision of services, ”said Dmitry Pegov, director of passenger transportation, Russian Railways, – services are not always of high quality, but we need to respond to the situation. "

Dmitry Pegov sees the path to the development of the passenger segment. Statistics of recent years shows that the measures taken by Russian Railways, incorporated in the development program, lead to positive developments.

“Since the beginning of 2017, in 2017, we, together with FPK and suburban companies, have undertaken a number of efforts aimed at restoring passenger traffic,” Dmitry Pegov said, “in general, it grew by 4.8 percent, in speed traffic it grew by 25 percent . Passengers come back from other modes of transport. ”

An important, key point: positive trends in international traffic are not yet outlined. At present, there are 17 international routes in the sphere of activity of Russian Railways, and according to the last year results, passenger traffic decreased by 1.7 percent, supporting the trend of recent years. Growth is observed in certain areas of Central Asia, but it is not enough to influence the entire volume.

Dmitry Pegov encouraged the participants to actively engage in the work on the implementation of the recommendations of UN Resolution No. 264. It sets the direction, further - the question of actions on the part of carriers and countries.

“It is necessary to support the adoption of a convention on the simplified crossing of borders by passengers, baggage, which we brought to the UN,” Peg said, “thus an additional advantage will be obtained, it will be easier and more convenient to use night trains.”

“FPK approved the concept of development until 2030. An important, pivotal moment is the balance between commercial and social tasks, ”said Peter Ivanov, general director of JSC FPC, .

Trunk directions can be described in three words: network, park, products. Another point of the program is the use of new trains that allow the formation of five-component trains. The ultimate goal: Moscow - Adler for 16 hours, night train - by 2025.

“Development, quality improvement is important for us. The average age of the rolling stock is now 18 years old, by 2025 it is necessary to reach 12.5 years, the order is 600 cars per year, retirement compensation and growth, ”said Peter Ivanov, general director of FPK JSC.

Controllers are baptized while recognizing faces, the ISC - an example of the global influence of the railway on the urban and social environment - is “PRO Passengers. Meet the customer: service, time, comfort. ”

“The vector of development is integration. All types of transport must be interconnected, ”said Alexey Belyankin, head of the Center for Corporate Governance of the Suburban Complex of Russian Railways.

“Two million passengers every day are our standard indicator, this is a daily labor migration,” said Maxim Dyakonov, General Director, Central PPK JSC, , – for the year we carry about 600 million passengers and we understand the request: comfort and speed ".

Maxim Dyakonov indicated digitalization as a major area of work. New technologies directly affect the speed of passenger traffic, the overall comfort of using transport.

“The task is not to approach the traditional sales channels at all, to give up tickets, to switch to a mobile application that is already being implemented,” said Maxim Dyakonov.

The CPPK is already testing fundamentally new validation systems, research and development is underway, including for face scanning, the experience is generally positive.

“True, in the test next to the validator stands the controller. So, when the first person who was recognized by the system passed by him, he literally crossed himself, ”shared Maxim Dyakonov.

“The effect of the MCC is very well visible in numbers. The ring metro line was unloaded by 15 percent, the central railway stations were unloaded by 20-40 percent, "saidJulia Temnikova, Deputy Head of Client Services Development and Passenger Services, Moscow Metro State Unitary Enterprise.

Indicators of influence on the urban environment, the level of urbanization are not included in the sphere of direct interests of the MCC and the Moscow Metro. However, the statistics are impressive.

During construction and with the start of work, the ISC ensured the creation of more than 40,000 jobs. MCC gave impetus to the construction of more than 300 thousand square meters of apart-hotels, about 250 thousand square meters of retail space, 200 thousand square meters of offices. We can safely say that these figures reflect the highest level of influence of the railway on the life of the urban agglomeration. And this is in the conditions of the already existing “alternative” transport infrastructure, when working in an already existing megalopolis.

The neural network analyzes the work of locomotives, smart contacts at OKZhD, a multiple reduction in the time of wheelset replacement is just a short list of topics covered at the round table "PRO Technologies: digital transformation of transport services".

“Digital transformation is more efficient and productive to do what we have to do in the production process,” said Kirill Semion, Head of the Information Department of Russian Railways OJSC – We focus on the effect, and there are situations when digital technology is needed for the effect. In some cases, digital technology can increase the effects, and some - to receive, without them it is impossible to do. ”

Cyril Semion made a reservation that he personally does not like the term “blockchain” too much, as it is associated with finances. With regard to the realities of railways, it is more correct, in his opinion, to operate with “distributed registry technology”, since this more accurately reflects the essence.

“The use of technology of distributed registries is already being tested and applied at the OKZhD For example, by introducing this technology, we managed to achieve an effect in which the replacement period for wheelsets was reduced by 10 times, - said Cyril Semion, - also on the October road, we are testing smart contracts. We are working on the technological part. "

A bright innovation is the construction of a neural network to analyze the operation of locomotive devices.

“They took the knot, collected all the statistics, if you look with a naked eye - a certain field of points,” Cyril Semion said, “with the help of the neural network, we were able to identify trends, we can predict its behavior with an accuracy of 95 percent over an interval of 10 days. We can use it most efficiently, knowing that the pre-booking condition will come or not to put on a flight, or to put on a flight, but where it can be served. ”

    02.10.2015 - Strategy day

Social, high-speed, innovative - these three words were heard more often than others at the opening ceremony of the PRO / Movement 1520 forum. In absolute terms, the word “social” was mentioned by speakers 9 times, “high-speed” and “innovative” - by 8 each.

Oleg Belozerov, Director General - Chairman of the Board of Russian Railways, in his speech expressed confidence in the efficiency of the forum. He outlined the key topics for discussion, which will affect both technology and technology, as well as the issue of personnel formation and human resources.

Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Dietrich approved the dominant, most important role of railways in the transport system of Russia. Yevgeny Dietrich read out the welcome speech of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. In his speech, the prime minister also stressed first of all the social importance of rail transport.

Plenary session “PRO is the future of the global transport system: global trends” It was devoted both to the review of forecasts, and specific plans for carriers.

Key speaker – Parag Hannah, among the 75 most influential people of the 21st century, according to the magazine Esquire, has a doctorate from the London School of Economics.

Hannah believes that Europe is the zone of maximum volumes of trade. But the vector of trade has shifted, Europe is less using transatlantic trade, $ 1.6 trillion is the turnover of trade between Europe and Asia. At the same time, China has not yet acquired the status of a major Asian economy, but this role can be assumed by South Korea, which is developing financial and economic ties with India, the same China, and other countries of the region.

An important point: cargoes start to go not only from the east to the west, now the loads go to the east. The result - in 10 years the trade turnover between Europe and Asia will reach 2.5 trillion dollars against the current 1.5 trillion.

“The potential of the wheel-rail system will be very far from being exhausted by 2050,” said Oleg Belozerov, “taking into account the development of alternative delivery systems, for example, the now-known Hyperloop.”

The head of Russian Railways commented on the key indicators of the company's development program, which, in particular, envisages the achievement of a figure of 180 million tons of pass on the BAM and Transsib highways by 2024.

It is planned to increase the capacity for container traffic, reducing the route from east to west to 7 days.

Finally, the SCM global contour will be formed inside the country, until 2024 the Moscow-Gorokhovets branch should be put into operation, but the end point can be taken even further.

At the strategic session “PRO Infrastructure Investment Strategies” The topics of competition for the capital of railways with other transport sectors, the effectiveness of investments and instruments were proposed for discussion.

“The railroad should think little about investments, because we work for the good of the state,” says Edvin Berzins, Chairman of the Board, President of the Latvian Railways SJSC.

He explained that there are joints, gaps, some losses, but ultimately the railway gives impetus to development, so investing in the railway is a public matter. The creation of railways is the creation of colossal infrastructure, new industries, jobs, and it should be considered from this point of view.

"We need to understand that 1 ruble invested in the infrastructure is a return of about 3 - 3.5 rubles," - said Dmitry Snesar, senior vice president of VTB Bank PJSC.

The financier spoke very carefully about bonds: in his opinion, this scheme is not always applicable and carries certain dangers and risks.

"If it is global, then once the ideal financing model was in Tsarist Russia," shared Alexander Misharin, First Deputy Director General, Russian Railways, – the state guaranteed returns on bonds issued by the railway; we can only dream of such a mechanism. ”

Alexander Misharin noted that in recent years there have been major changes, new mechanisms, concession agreements, forms of public-private partnership have been mastered and developed.

“We must use all forms of financing for megaprojects, such as the High-Speed Nuclear Council, and hybrid financing, and Take or Pay, and other schemes should be,” said Alexander Misharin.

Round table “PRO new speeds” answered the questions about the immediate prospects and strategic directions for the development of high-speed rail in Russia and the world.

“I must state that the Russian Sapsan is superior to the German and French railways in terms of punctuality, it is at the level of the Japanese Shinkonsan,” said Dietrich Möller, Vice President, Siemens, – in 2003, when the project began, it was difficult to even imagine such a thing. ”

Now the company is working on a new generation of speed train and is ready to offer it to Russia.

“When creating a new train, the task was to reduce costs and maintenance costs by an average of 20 percent, while increasing capacity and reducing weight by around 10, engineers solved the problems,” said Dietrich Meller.

Regarding the timing of the appearance, Meller considers the term from 3 to 5 years realistic.

The lack of transport reaching a speed of 300 kilometers per hour is a competitive disadvantage of the entire transport system of Russia, ”said Alexander Misharin, first deputy general director of Russian Railways.

Also, Alexander Misharin points out that when assessing the financial efficiency of railway infrastructure projects, especially the Supreme Council of Railway Administration, it is necessary to apply global methods. It is necessary, for example, as in the UK, to take into account budget revenues from operating effects.

“The operational profitability of VSM is from 70 to 80 percent. When they say that they will need subsidies, as in suburban transportation, no, this is not so, this is other transportation, ”said Alexander Misharin.

The strategic session “PRO technology of the future: what we carry cargo” - minimum futurology, maximum real and immediate needs of the industry. On the agenda were the requirements set by the consumer for railway technology, the transition to digital technologies, the development of management systems aimed at improving the safety and reliability of the transportation process.

Стратегическая сессия “PRO technology of the future: how do we carry goods” – minimum futurology, maximum real and immediate needs of the industry. On the agenda were the requirements set by the consumer for railway technology, the transition to digital technologies, the development of management systems aimed at improving the safety and reliability of the transportation process.

According to estimates, made on the basis of current trends and the program for the development of railways until 2025, the industry will provide production loads of up to 600 locomotives and 5,000 carriages per year.

«Digital motion control systems, Digital Depot 4.0, Digital Plant are not projects, not plans, but projects with specific implementation dates and financing, ”said Kirill Lipa, General Director, Transmashholding.

According to him, digital train control systems developed by the company have already begun to introduce some large private clients on a private network.

“I ask you to understand correctly, we are in no way going into traffic control, but without such a system it is impossible to efficiently and quickly serve rolling stock, locomotives,” says Kirill Lipa.

We are talking about the introduction of predictive technologies. Digital systems are capable of online analysis of the work of the 11 series locomotives. Also, in real-time, the system provides information on the pre-failure state of components and assemblies, and in parallel, also in automatic mode, a shift-daily task at the depot is formed. Accordingly, such a solution allows to reduce the downtime for repairs, to avoid unplanned outages for failures, therefore, to radically improve the efficiency of the entire system.

“I want to note (I don’t like this term very much, but still) 60 percent of exported coal is already being transported by so-called innovative cars,” shared Alexey Sokolov, First Deputy Director General for Strategy and Product, NPK "OVK".

In his opinion, the discussion about the need to move to such and more advanced cars is meaningless if we talk about large planning horizons. Tests show that the “innovative” car is capable of going at a speed of 105 kilometers per hour, and regardless of the load, both empty and full. Analogs "without innovation", which are in operation, can withstand up to 90 kilometers per hour empty and only 60 with maximum loading. It is clear that these indicators do not fit into the industry development strategy.

  • FORUM EXPERTS - Kirill Rodin, head of the department for work with state authorities of the VTsIOM

    - ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH THE OVERALL WORK AND FORMAT OF THE FORUM? PROS AND CONS, MAYBE SOME SCROLL? DID YOU MANAGE TO DISCUSS EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO DISCUSS?

    - Impressions from the forum in Sochi usually always remain good. But if we speak about the event itself, then, in my opinion, first of all it, of course, showed that companies today are seriously changing their image towards open type companies. The forum itself, in particular, is one of those events that companies consider from the point of view of organizing a dialogue with the state, with business and with representatives of NGOs dealing with issues of transport development. But this openness is formed not only from the format but, of course, from the substantial dialogue that took place within the framework of the form. Everyone noticed that a significant part of the questions was devoted to issues of digitalization. What is industry digitalization? This openness is not in words, but openness at the level of specific tools of interaction with the consumer, so that the whole chain of services provided to him is understandable and convenient for him. Well, I want to believe that the dialogue will continue. Not able to discuss more than discuss.

    - Always, when there is understatement is good. So next time, as I understand it, you can wait here on the site?

    - If they call, of course, I will come!

    - One more question. From your point of view, who is more important to take part in the discussion at the forum site? Corporations, consumers, experts, business representatives, taking into account the current economic conditions and the development of the industry?

    - I would answer in such a way that all those who gathered here today are, in fact, the fingers of one hand. In terms of the complexity of the process - this is really one team. And the absence in the team of someone from those whom you designated, would already be a significant loss for the event. It is difficult to compare, but I want to believe that in the first place with the beneficiary of this event will definitely be Russian Railways. I hope that the other participants will receive their dividends.

  • PRO TECHNOLOGIES: DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF TRANSPORT SERVICES

The neural network analyzes the work of locomotives, smart contacts on the OKZhD, a multiple reduction in the time of wheelset replacement

The round table “PRO Technologies: Digital Transformation of Transport Services” , which took place on October 3 in the framework of the International Transport and Logistics Forum “PRO // Motion.1520”, is big data, blockchain and new technological paradigm. During the discussion, it was concluded: current trends and digitalization is not an end in itself. It is a tool to increase profitability, reduce costs and make processes more efficient.

    Cyril Semion

“Digital transformation is more efficient and productive to do what we have to do in the production process,” said Kirill Semion, head of the information department of Russian Railways, “We focus on the effect, and there are situations when digital technology is needed for the effect. In some cases, digital technologies can increase the effects, and some - to receive, without them it is impossible to do. ”

Cyril Semion made a reservation that he personally does not like the term “blockchain” too much, as it is associated with finances. With regard to the realities of railways, it is more correct, in his opinion, to operate with “distributed registry technology”, since this more accurately reflects the essence.

“The use of technology of distributed registries is already being tested and applied at the OKZhD. For example, by introducing this technology, we managed to achieve an effect in which the period of replacement of wheelsets was reduced by 10 times, - said Cyril Semion, - also on the October road we are testing smart contracts. We are working on the technological part. "

According to Cyril Semiona, the future is also seen in increasing the efficiency of internal processes. Due to the structure of many verticals, each of them operates in a situation of limited resources, building a consensus will make it possible to work as efficiently as possible.

“Another aspect is artificial intelligence, several projects related to this topic,” shared Cyril Semion, “a project was launched with speech recognition regarding interaction with the driver, he can orally mark remarks in a fairly arbitrary form. A "workplace of the car inspector" was developed - without a pen and paper and even a tablet, which is important, since often the work is far from being in the conditions of Sochi. "

A bright innovation is the construction of a neural network to analyze the operation of locomotive devices.

«We took the knot, collected all the statistics, if you look with the naked eye - a certain field of points, - Cyril Semion reported, - with the help of the neural network we were able to identify trends, we can predict its behavior with an accuracy of 95 percent over an interval of 10 days. We can use it most efficiently, knowing that the pre-booking condition will come or not to put on a flight, or to put on a flight, but where it can be served. ”

Kirill Semion recalled that in the case of Russian Railways, scale effect also works. For example, locomotives are equipped with sensors, down to small details, the data is multiplied by thousands of their receipt and processing goes in real time - this way you can work not just with a huge array, but draw conclusions and conduct research with the greatest possible accuracy.

Representatives of companies operating in the IT sector presented examples of the real use of new technologies.

    Artem Kuleshov

“Let me give an example of a transport company that just received our analysis: yes, they say, we knew about it,” said Artem Kuleshov, deputy commercial director of Polimatika, “We ask why we didn’t do anything if we knew? Answer that at the level of intuition. So, a qualitative analysis of Big Data allows you to get accurate data that reflects the real state of affairs and make decisions based on them and straighten business processes. ”

    Alexander Kozlov

A lot was said at the forum about competition in the field of logistics, pressure from the sea and road carriers. IT-technologies, digitalization - the ability to eliminate competitive disadvantages. “Competition with sea transportation: the fact that the cargo is not visible, it’s hard to insure, is working in a minus railroad,” says Alexander Kozlov, commercial director of Modern Radio Technologies, “will take the way by sea from the Far East – the container is visible all over. On the railroad, his “no” is 40 percent of the way. We worked with GSM sensors, but they just do not work, there is no infrastructure. But we found a solution, we had to modify the devices, add Irirdium modems, now the gap has been eliminated. ”

  • FORUM EXPERTS - InfraNews Director General Alexey Bezborodov

    - Did you receive answers to your questions during the forum sessions?

    - We all have a lot of questions. On current issues received answers. As a matter of fact, for the sake of which I came, I found out. What, again I repeat, there are no revelations, because everything is working in one system. We all perfectly understand what depends on what, who, what can say, who cannot. And the future logic of the development of events is approximately understandable. At least, I understand what will happen tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and the next few years.

    - Any specific points and directions can you identify? What are you most interested in?

    - I am most interested in transit, in general, the entire container business. What I heard, in fact, says that there is still a huge range of opinions and ideas, everything is still in a fairly free state, as it should be in the container business. There is no consensus, there is no strict regulation, and this means that this business will develop in a normal market way. And this is the most important thing. That is, for me, if everyone spoke in the same language, pronounced the same numbers and repeated the same slogans, it would be worse.

    - But can this fact, on the contrary, speak of chaos and lack of regulation?

    - In fact of the matter. Container business should be free. Everyone should have an opinion and everyone should achieve their goals in commercial work by achieving consensus with dozens of other players. In any other way, the container business does not work, only complete freedom.

    - Do you consider the forum an effective tool for the interaction of all market participants and determine the future development strategy?

Well, as a meeting place for everyone at once, at the same time, when in one pass you communicate with the commercial director of Russian Railways, with the owners of coal companies, this is, of course, effective. Without a doubt, all the ideas have listened, all ideas are clear. Here no one needs to make any decisions. Everyone got together and listened to each other's opinions - everything is fine.

  • JÖRG LIEBSCHER, DIRECTOR OF SIEMENS MOBILITY, BELIEVES THAT THE PRO / / / MOVEMENT 1520 FORUM IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR BOTH MARKET PARTICIPANTS AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.

  • PRO PASSENGERS. MEET THE CUSTOMER: SERVICE, TIME, COMFORT

THE CONTROLLERS ARE BAPTIZED WHILE RECOGNIZING FACES, THE MCC HAS GIVEN IMPETUS TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF SQUARE METERS, THE VALIDATION WILL BE UNIFIED

The topic of the round table is “PRO Passengers. Towards the client: service, time, comfort " was designated as" Modern infrastructure for the transport of passengers: the balance between the economy and the social task. "

Also on the agenda was a discussion of tasks that can be solved with the help of the Eurasia HSR. But ultimately, the discussion of the consumer sector: the comfort of passengers and new methods of working with passenger traffic. Separately, it is worth noting the speech of the representative of the Moscow metro.

Yulia Temnikova, Deputy Head of Client Services Development and Passenger Services, Moscow Metro State Unitary Enterprise, gave an overview of the cooperation of urban transport with the MSC.

It is necessary to note two points. First: the tremendous success of rail transport, city train in a city - this experience can certainly be scaled. Second, the influence of the urban railway on the infrastructure, social situation and areas in which it passes. The latter can be extrapolated to general studies of the impact of railway transport on the regions. Moreover, under the conditions of Moscow, the ISC did not just appear as a transport, it also entered into competition with its more familiar types and routes.

    Alexey Belyankin

“The vector of development is integration. All types of transport should be interconnected, ”said Alexey Belyankin, head of the Center for Corporate Governance of the Suburban Complex of Russian Railways. According to him, now work is underway to create a universal validation system, there is the concept of a universal payment system.

“Unfortunately, so far we do not see its creators noticing Russian Railways, but railways should be part of the global system, this is a global trend,” shared Alexei Belyankin.

    Maxim Dyakonov

“Two million passengers per day are our standard indicator, this is a daily labor migration,” said Maxim Dyakonov, general director, Central PPK, “for the year we transport about 600 million passengers and we understand the request: comfort and speed.”

Maxim Dyakonov indicated digitalization as a major area of work. New technologies directly affect the speed of passenger traffic, the overall comfort of using transport.

“The task is not to approach the traditional sales channels at all, to refuse tickets, to switch to a mobile application that is already being implemented,” said Maxim Dyakonov.

The CPPK is already testing fundamentally new validation systems, research and development is underway, including for face scanning, the experience is generally positive. “True, in the test next to the validator stands the controller. So, when the first person, whom the system recognized by face, passed by, he literally crossed himself, ”shared Maxim Dyakonov.

Maxim Dyakonov also said that the CPPK made serious investments in the new sales system, which is able to work with all imaginable products: plane tickets, trolley bus, and bus tickets. In the future, this solution may be part of the overall integration of all types of transport.

    Julia Temnikova

“The effect of the MCC is very well visible in numbers. The ring metro line was unloaded by 15 percent, the central railway stations were unloaded by 20-40 percent, ”said Yulia Temnikova, deputy head of client services development and passenger handling at the Moscow Metro State Unitary Enterprise.

Indicators of influence on the urban environment, the level of urbanization are not included in the sphere of direct interests of the MCC and the Moscow Metro. However, the statistics are impressive.

During construction and with the start of work, the ISC ensured the creation of more than 40,000 jobs. We can safely say that these figures reflect the highest level of influence of the railway on the life of urban agglomeration. And this is in the conditions of the already existing “alternative” transport infrastructure, when working in an already established megalopolis.

    Arman Sultanov

“Taking this opportunity, I want to share a request, a plan - you can call it as you please. We are in favor of extending the historic Moscow-Almaty route, which is now carried out in a reduced mode, to Saratov, ”said Arman Sultanov, executive director, NC ZhKT JSC, Chairman of the Board of Passenger Transportation JSC. Arman Slutanov sees a positive trend in interstate passenger rail traffic.

As for the Eurasia HSR, then for Kazakhstan this megaproject also has local application. The route should pass between Astana and Alma-Ata, the capital and the largest city of Kazakhstan. Thus, track facilities can also be used for high-speed domestic transport.

“Two hours between Astana and Almaty are an excellent indicator that can be achieved,” says Arman Sultanov, “mobility will increase, there will be no need for moving.”

  • PRO PASSENGER TRAFFIC TODAY: ISSUES, TRENDS, GOALS

PRO Passenger traffic today: issues, trends, goals

Simplified border crossing, the growth of daytime express trains and new rolling stock - drivers of growth in passenger traffic

At the strategic session “PRO Passenger transportation today: problems, trends, goals” , October 3, within the framework of the International Transport and Logistics Forum “PRO // Movement 1520”, problems were identified and ways to solve global problems were outlined. development of passenger traffic.

    Dmitry Pegov

“The reality is that they compete with us powerfully. He competes with motor vehicles and does it powerfully in terms of legislation and provision of services, ”said Dmitry Pegov, director of passenger transportation, Russian Railways,“ The services are not always of high quality, but we need to respond to the situation. ”

“Dmitry Pegov sees the path to the development of the passenger segment. Statistics of recent years shows that the measures taken by Russian Railways, incorporated in the development program, lead to positive developments. “Since the beginning of 2017, in 2017, we, together with FPK and suburban companies, have undertaken a number of efforts aimed at restoring passenger traffic,” Dmitry Pegov said, “in general, it grew by 4.8 percent, and in speed traffic it grew by 25 percent. Passengers come back from other modes of transport. ”

“The trend is also evident in the current year. For example, in the segment of high-speed traffic, growth for 8 months has already exceeded 25 percent.

«It is necessary to support the adoption of a convention on the simplified crossing of borders by passengers, luggage, which we brought to the UN, ”said Pegov,“ thus an additional advantage will be obtained, it will be easier and more convenient to use night trains. ”

Dmitry Pegov encouraged the participants to actively engage in the work on the implementation of the recommendations of UN Resolution No. 264. It sets the direction, further - the question of actions on the part of carriers and countries. “It is necessary to support the adoption of a convention on the simplified crossing of borders by passengers, luggage, which we have brought to the UN,” Peg said, “thus an additional advantage will be obtained, it will be easier and more convenient to use night trains.”

“JSC“ Russian Railways ”implements promising projects that lead to an increase in the attractiveness of rail transportation and an increase in volumes. Promising products: daily express + 23 percent to the level of last year: high-speed trains FPK + 47.3 percent; double-deck trains FPK + comparable figure. "

Immediate plans and prospects: the expansion of the park "Sapsanov". Now the route has reached the loading limit, there is a shortage. It was decided to purchase an additional 11 trains and to increase the composition to 11 cars. Strategic direction - the center-south direction, bottlenecks will be embroidered. By 2025, the speed of movement will increase significantly.

The project is already being implemented: carriers can join the project in innovative mobility and, with the help of JSC Russian Railways, make seamless transportations with various types of transport up to Meteors in St. Petersburg.

Finally, there is the development of digital technology. The goal is to organize the process of buying a ticket in three clicks. Simple statistics show how important this is: right now up to 51 percent of sales go via the Internet, with reference to Sapsan this figure reaches 70 percent.

    Peter Ivanov

“FPK approved the concept of development until 2030. An important, cornerstone moment is the balance between commercial and social tasks, ”said Petr Ivanov, General Director of JSC FPK.

Trunk directions can be described in three words: network, park, products.

In more detail, the plans - the adjustment of the composition, a wider use of double-decker cars.

Another point of the program is the use of new trains that allow the formation of five-component trains. The ultimate goal: Moscow - Adler for 16 hours, night train - by 2025.

“Development, quality improvement is important for us. The average age of the rolling stock is now 18 years old, by 2025 it is necessary to reach 12.5 years, the order is 600 cars per year, compensation for retirement and growth, ”said Peter Ivanov, general director of FPK JSC.

If we talk about simple examples of comfort - these are sockets, now they are in half of the compartment, there will be in all, a fully air-conditioned car park.

Finally, in the near future - systematization and reduction of tariffs, categories and their combinations. The goal is to reduce their number to a maximum of 16 while now there are almost an order of magnitude more.

  • THE PRO FORUM // MOTION.1520 DECLARED THE MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE STATE SEGMENT OF THE DIGITAL PLATFORM OF THE TRANSPORT COMPLEX OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Today at the International Transport and Logistics "PRO // Dvizhenie.1520" declared the main functions of the state segment of the Digital platform of the transport complex of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Transport of Russia is working on the formation of a departmental project “Digital Transport and Logistics”, which combines measures in the main areas of digital transformation in transport: freight and passenger traffic, transport infrastructure management, organizing cross-border interaction, ensuring security in transport, implementing the environmental paradigm, the introduction of unmanned technology. For each of the areas will be provided with digital services and services that provide increased availability, security, quality of transport services. Currently, the functions of the project office are actually performed by FSUE ZashchitaInfoTrans. All existing and developed digital transport platforms will be merged into a single trusted digital space for all participants in the transport and logistics processes, into the “Digital Platform of the Transport Complex of the Russian Federation”. The creation of the Digital Platform of the Transport Complex of the Russian Federation is carried out by industry leaders, members of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association: Russian Railways, Aeroflot, Avtodor, RT-Invest Transport Systems, Business lines, GLOSAV and ZashitaInfoTrans.

Viktor Parakhin, Deputy General Director of FSUE ZashchitaInfoTrans, noted at the PRO // Dvizheniye 15 forum: “The state segment of the Digital Platform of the Transport Complex of the Russian Federation” will take on the formation of standards for a unified digital trust environment, will become a single window of digital and information services between participants of the transport market and state authorities, will be a single data bank on transport infrastructure, provide quality control of transport services, implement socially important digital services, and create the basis for digital security of the population in transport. ”

Viktor Parakhin emphasized that Russia already has a successful experience in creating and operating a system of information support for transport security. This is a unique platform system EGIS OTB, which has no analogues in the world in terms of the scale of the data collected. It now receives data from 8.5 thousand carriers from 137 countries of the world. EGIS OTB was created by the professional team of FSUE ZashchitaInfoTrans. On its basis, digital services will be provided in the field of transport security for participants in the transport market, and records will be taken of unmanned aerial vehicles.

“One of the most important functions of the“ Digital Platform of the Transport Complex of the Russian Federation ”is monitoring the level of transport services, monitoring the implementation of SLA indicators. To manage an industry, you need to know its condition and be able to assess the quality of its work. This can be done by collecting information from business and citizens about the quality of the transport services received and about other parameters of the transport complex. And now we can do it in real time in many ways. Measuring the level of quality of transport services, the state will be able to issue control actions in a timely manner, as well as provide ratings to transport companies and businesses, ”said Victor Parahin.

    Federal State Unitary Enterprise

ZashchitaInfoTrans of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation

  • FORUM EXPERTS - General Director of IPEM Yuri Sahakyan

    - Do you consider the forum to be an effective tool for interaction between the participants and how do you find such an updated format of it in general?

    - The forum is really very interesting. This is a very special area. Where else in one day you can see all the people in the industry, whether they are rulers or representatives of Russian Railways, transport companies or expert communities. And many of them live in different cities, and here they all gather together, and there is an opportunity to discuss many issues, and even just to hear the opinion of people about how they see the development of transport in Russia.

    - After the discussion, did a clearer understanding emerge of what requirements the consumer places on the composition?

    - The task of the session was not for the consumer to formulate technical requirements. This they do in collaboration with manufacturers. They call clear technical requirements, and the manufacturer accordingly adjusts them in accordance with their capabilities. It was about where the industry is moving at all, what the trend is. Therefore, such reports appeared on the topics of “smart locomotive” and “smart carriage”. Therefore, a lot has been said about technologies, including technologies for the production of locomotives and technologies for transportation. Because, ultimately, The shipper needs his cargo safely and safely delivered from one point to another for a certain period, which is guaranteed by the rail transport. And, accordingly, how to make the transport to meet those requirements? It turns out, the combination of technology and the technical solutions in the product.

    - To sum up, what were the most important points in the session?

    - It was noted that technology is indeed very important; that the harmonious development of infrastructure and rolling stock is necessary. It can not be so that the rolling stock has rushed far ahead, to go then it is still on rails. Exactly the same thing, if you have any bottlenecks in the railway network, then even if you put a modern locomotive there, it will still go with restrictions. Therefore, all this should develop together, and infrastructure and rolling stock.

  • HOW WAS THE STRATEGY DAY ON THE FORUM "PRO // MOVEMENT.1520"

Social, high-speed, innovative - these three words sounded more often than others at the opening ceremony of the PRO Forum // Movement.1520. In absolute terms, the word “social” was mentioned by speakers 9 times, “high-speed” and “innovative” - 8 each.

Oleg Belozerov, Head of Russian Railways , in his speech expressed confidence in the forum’s productivity. He outlined the key topics for discussion, which will affect both technology and technology, as well as the issue of personnel formation and human resources.

The Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Dietrich approved the dominant , the most important role of railways in the transport system of Russia. Yevgeny Dietrich read out the welcome speech of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. In his speech, the prime minister also stressed first of all the social importance of rail transport.

The plenary session PRO of the Future of the World Transport System: Global Trends was devoted to both a review of forecasts and specific plans for carriers.

The key speaker, Parag Khanna , is among the 75 most influential people of the 21st century, according to Esquire magazine, has a doctorate from the London School of Economics.

Hannah believes that Europe is the zone of maximum volume of trade. But the trade vector has shifted, Europe is less using transatlantic trade, $ 1.6 trillion is the trade turnover between Europe and Asia. At the same time, China has not yet acquired the status of a major Asian economy, but this role can be assumed by South Korea, which is developing financial and economic ties with India, the same China, and other countries in the region.

An important point: cargoes start to go not only from the east to the west, now the loads go to the east. The result - in 10 years the trade turnover between Europe and Asia will reach 2.5 trillion dollars against the current 1.5 trillion. “The potential of the wheel-rail system will be very far from being exhausted by 2050,” said Oleg Belozerov, “given the development of alternative technologies and delivery systems, for example, the now-famous Hyperloop”, the head of Russian Railways JSC commented on key indicators of the company's development program, which, in particular, it provides for the achievement of an indicator of 180 million tons of passes on the BAM and Transsib highways by 2024.

It is planned to increase the capacity for container traffic, reducing the route from east to west to 7 days. Finally, the SCM global contour will be formed inside the country, until 2024 the Moscow-Gorokhovets branch should be put into operation, but the end point can be taken even further.

At the strategic session “PRO Strategies for Infrastructure Investments” , the topics of competition for railroad capital with other transport sectors, the effectiveness of investments and tools were proposed for discussion.

“The railroad should think a little about investments, because we work for the good of the state,” says Edwin Berzins, Chairman of the Board, President of the Latvian Railways SJSC.

He explained that there are joints, gaps, some losses, but ultimately the railway gives impetus to development, so investing in the railway is a public matter. The creation of railways is the creation of colossal infrastructure, new industries, jobs, and it should be considered from this point of view.

«You need to understand that 1 ruble invested in the infrastructure is a return of about 3 - 3.5 rubles, ”said Dmitry Snesar, senior vice president of VTB Bank, P.

The financier spoke very carefully about bonds: in his opinion, this scheme is not always applicable and carries certain dangers and risks.

“If it’s global, then once the ideal financing model was in tsarist Russia,” shared Alexander Misharin, first deputy general director of Russian Railways, “the government guaranteed returns on railway bonds, we can only dream of such a mechanism.”

The round table “PRO new speeds” gave an answer to the questions about the immediate prospects and strategic directions for the development of high-speed rail in Russia and the world.

“I must state that the Russian Sapsan is superior to the German and French railways in terms of punctuality, it is at the level of the Japanese Shinkonsan,” stated Dietrich Möller, head of regional sales, Siemens Mobility GmbH . “In 2003, when the project started, it was hard to even imagine such a thing.”

Also, Alexander Misharin points out that when evaluating the financial efficiency of railway infrastructure projects, especially VSM, it is necessary to apply global methods. It is necessary, for example, as in the UK, to take into account budget revenues from operating effects.

“The operational profitability of VSM is from 70 to 80 percent. When they say that they will need subsidies, as in suburban transportation, no, it is not, it is other transportation, ”said Alexander Misharin.

The strategic session “PRO technology of the future: what we carry cargo” - at least futurology, maximum real and immediate needs of the industry. On the agenda were the requirements imposed by the consumer on railway technology, the transition to digital technologies, the development of management systems aimed at improving the safety and reliability of the transportation process.

According to estimates, made on the basis of current trends and the program for the development of railways until 2025, the industry will provide production loads of up to 600 locomotives and 5,000 carriages per year. “Digital motion control systems, Digital Depot 4.0, Digital Plant are not projects, not plans, but projects with specific implementation dates and financing,” said Kirill Lipa, General Director, Transmashholding JSC. According to him, digital train control systems developed by the company have already begun to implement some large private clients on the private network.

“Please understand correctly, we are in no way going into traffic control, but without such a system it is impossible to efficiently and quickly serve rolling stock, locomotives,” says Kirill Lipa. We are talking about the introduction of predictive technologies. Digital complexes are able to analyze the work of 11 series locomotives in online mode.

Also, in real-time, the system provides information about the pre-failure state of components and assemblies, and in parallel, also in automatic mode, a shift-daily task is created at the depot. Accordingly, such a solution allows to reduce the downtime for repairs, to avoid unplanned outages for failures, therefore, radically improve the efficiency of the entire system.

“I want to note (I don’t like this term very much, but still) 60 percent of exported coal is already being transported by so-called innovative cars,” shared Alexey Sokolov, first deputy general director for strategy and product, NPK “OVK”.

  • “IN THE NEAR FUTURE MANY NEW SPECIALTIES WILL APPEAR IN THE RAILWAY INDUSTRY”

The main topic of discussion "PROfessional of the Future 4.0" was the formation of personnel reserve, as well as retraining and advanced training of current employees.

The key strategic goal for the period until 2030, set by the state to the transport complex, is to ensure the availability and quality of transport and logistics services that meet the needs of the population and the economy, as well as increasing labor productivity of at least 5% annually.

To achieve this, according to the participants of the round table, it is possible only in the complex: through the improvement and introduction of new technological products, as well as the optimization of the number of personnel.

“The solution of these tasks will entail the emergence of new specialties and the modification of a number of already existing professions, the so-called“ railway workers 4.0 ”. Soon we will see such specialists as an operator of digital systems for diagnosing infrastructure facilities, a logistics manager, a high-speed train pilot, big data analysts, engineers and technologists in 3D printing of parts for locomotive production, railway construction ”, - The Deputy Director General of Russian Railways Dmitry Shakhanov noted.

The participants of the round table see the solution of these problems in close cooperation with industry-specific university complexes and the development of HR-tools within the company.

Thus, a number of projects are being implemented at JSC Russian Railways. In terms of worker training, these are self-sufficient training centers for vocational qualifications, where new modern training programs for new professions are being developed, as well as training for new type managers on the basis of the Corporate University.

All this already brings results, experts say. The share of young people up to 30 years in the company since 2006 has grown from 18% to 28%, today Russian Railways is the youngest production company (42.3% of employees under the age of 35), and more than 400 participants in youth programs from 2006 to currently occupy leadership positions at the central level — managers with new approaches to work, new skills and abilities, united by common value orientations.

  • PRO INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT STRATEGIES: FINDING A BALANCE BETWEEN THE INTERESTS OF MONEY AND CARGO

At the strategic session “PRO Strategies for Infrastructure Investment”, the topics of competition for railroad capital with other transport sectors, the effectiveness of investments and instruments were proposed for discussion.

Representatives of the railway industry, Alexander Misharin , First Deputy Director General of JSC “Russian Railways”, Edvin Berzins , Chairman of the Board, President of the Latvian Railways JSC took part in the work. The viewpoint of financial institutions will be designated by Dmitry Snesar , senior vice president of VTB Bank PJSC.

    Edwin Berzins

“The railroad should think little about investments, because we work for the good of the state,” says Edvin Berzins, Chairman of the Board, President of the Latvian Railways SJSC.

He explained that there are joints, gaps, some losses, but ultimately the railway gives impetus to development, so investing in the railway is a public matter. The creation of railways is the creation of colossal infrastructure, new productions, jobs, and it needs to be seen from this very point of view.

    Dmitry Snesar

“We need to understand that 1 ruble invested in the infrastructure is a return of about 3 - 3.5 rubles,” said Dmitry Snesar, senior vice president of VTB Bank PJSC.

The financier spoke very carefully about bonds: in his opinion, this scheme is not always applicable and carries certain dangers and risks. As an illustration, Snesar cited the actions of the administration of a western town, which invested millions of euros in a dream - its own airport. The bottom line is that they are practically not used, which in most financing schemes would lead to a loss of funds by investors.

    Alexander Misharin

“If it is global, then once the ideal financing model was in Tsarist Russia. - Share Alexander Misharin, First Deputy Director General of Russian Railways. “The state guaranteed the yield on bonds issued by the railway, we can only dream of such a mechanism.”

In addition, it should be noted that the First Deputy President - Chairman of the Board of VTB Yuri Soloviev said: there are funds to finance the high-speed railway Zheleznodorozhny - Gorokhovets section (part of the Moscow-Kazan High Speed Railway).

"There is money, investors lined up in a queue," said Solovyov. The cost of the high-speed rail section, excluding the infrastructure inside Moscow and the depot, is 621.5 billion rubles. The total cost of the high-speed railway network Moscow-Kazan is estimated at 1.69 trillion rubles.

  • PRO IS THE FUTURE OF THE GLOBAL TRANSPORT SYSTEM

RUSSIA IS A KEY COUNTRY IN GLOBAL SPACE, THE POTENTIAL OF THE RAIL-WHEEL SYSTEM WILL NOT BE EXHAUSTED BY 2050

The plenary session PRO of the Future of the World Transport System: Global Trends was devoted both to a review of forecasts and specific plans for carriers.

The key speaker, Parag Khanna , is among the 75 most influential people of the 21st century, according to Esquire magazine, has a doctorate from the London School of Economics.

Oleg Belozerov , General Director - Chairman of the Board of Russian Railways, whose presentation also took place during the session.

    Parag hannah

“The strength of Russia is the strength of unity and the strength of connection with the whole world. - Considers Parag Hannah. “If you are not connected, you will be captured or exploited.”

“The strategist believes that railway transport is one of the drivers of global development. It fully meets the trend towards globalization, urbanization of the planet.

“Japan, in my opinion, can and should cease to be an island. The railway crossing through Sakhalin is a project to be oriented on. ”

“Hannah also believes that we should pay close attention to the two countries that are currently in a certain isolation and excluded from transnational projects. This is Iran, which for millennia without exaggeration has been the most important transit point, the development of civilizations, the exchange of experience. These are Korea and North Korea - countries capable of connecting and opening a corridor to new areas of Asia, the Asia-Pacific Region.

“I would very much like the Silk Road to go through North Korea,” said Hannah.

Hannah believes that Europe is the zone of maximum volume of trade. But the trade vector has shifted, Europe is less using transatlantic trade, $ 1.6 trillion is the trade turnover between Europe and Asia.

At the same time, sea transportation is concentrated in the Indian Ocean. Sea transportation dominates, but they are still tied to the railways. Accordingly, intermodal development is the only productive scenario of further development for railway transport.

    Oleg Belozerov

“The potential of the wheel-rail system will be very far from exhausted by 2050. - Oleg Belozerov is sure. “This is taking into account the development of alternative technologies, delivery systems, for example, the now known Hyperloop.”

The head of Russian Railways recalled the key features of rail transport: he has the longest period of investment in infrastructure, he is closest and systematically moving towards the widespread introduction of "green" technologies. Thus, one can single out the main features of the development of Russian railways: a large planning horizon — segments are already being considered until 2024 and 2050; integration with other types of transport — intermodality; widespread reduction of harmful emissions — a complete transition to “green” technologies.

“The agglomerations are united into mega-regions - we are already seeing this process. - Oleg Belozerov declared. “In such a situation, the railways get a natural advantage over any other means of transport.”

Oleg Belozerov said that the first frontier of development is 2025, Russian Railways has developed a corresponding program, which will be considered by the government in the near future. The key principle laid down in the document is advanced development.

The program envisages the achievement of an indicator of 180 million tons of passes through the BAM and Transsib highways by 2024. It is planned to increase the capacity for container traffic, reducing the route from east to west to 7 days. Finally, the SCM global contour will be formed inside the country, until 2024 the Moscow-Gorokhovets branch should be put into operation, but the end point can be taken even further.

If we talk about more distant prospects, then there is a clear understanding of the need to create and develop high-speed lines as one of the priority areas. High-speed trunk Eurasia, meridional passages - this is how the future of railway transport in Russia appears.

“The infrastructure grid, which is created through the development of railways, will ensure the socio-economic development of Russia.” - Oleg Belozerov is sure

Intermodality is not just a designated trend, and Russian Railways is ready to actively connect to its use.

“In freight transportation, the company plans to“ enter ”in the territory of both customers and recipients. - Says Oleg Belozerov. “I do not exclude that in order to provide the“ last mile ”we will own our own transport, vehicles.”
